Mrs. Homayra Teixeira - Owner / Manager

Homayra is the owner and teacher at Little Bright Minds Preschool in North Delta. A graduate of Early Childhood Education, she has been practicing for over a decade. Her experience includes working at the YMCA preschool and school-age care program in Surrey, as well as at various preschools throughout the Surrey, BC area.

She holds certifications in First Aid and FoodSafe and is committed to developing new ideas for early learners. As a mother of two, her passion for early education is reflected in her active professional development through Child Care Options. Her completed workshops include Meeting the Distinctive Needs of Newcomer Children in Child Care, Social & Emotional Development in the Early Years, and Pedagogical Narrations. Homayra loves working with children and is dedicated to continuously enhancing the programs at her preschool.
